He's taken part in shamanic ceremonies, tribal ceremonies, plant-medicine ceremonies, and funeral ceremonies ranging from China to Ghana to Indonesia to California. The culmination of these experiences led him to found Consciously.org, where along with Melanie McDaniel he guides people into fulfillment, transformation, and expanded awareness in mind, body, and spirit. We talk about his path to recovery, the danger of becoming addicted to porn during the pandemic, which is the focus of his latest book "Porn and the Pandemic: How Three Months in 2020 Changed Everything" and the belief that if we can begin to talk more about porn addiction and mental health, others may be able to address their addictions before they devolve to the unhealthy and criminal places where he hit rock bottom.
